Peninsula Gets Green Light

LAGO VISTA (McClain Holdings) – Developer McClain Holdings of Austin has received approval from both the city council and the planning and zoning commission to build condominiums on 58 acres along Lake Travis’ north shore.

Managing partner Don McClain said the company hopes to break ground on the 250,000-square-foot [project] within the next five or six months. The project will take about 15 months to complete.

The Peninsula will consist of a four-story building and a two-story building housing a total of 225 condominiums. The development will also include a restaurant, meeting space and a marina.

The project engineer is Loomis Austin.
