Loomis Partners offers engineering services for the planning, design and permitting of marinas and dry boat storage facilities. We have performed design and permitting of numerous marina facilities including Northshore, Sandy Creek, and Waterford Marinas on Lake Travis where water levels vary routinely over 40 feet vertically from season to season.

Loomis staff can help in assessing proposed site compliance with LCRA marina ordinances and the feasibility of lake access options for both floating marinas and dry boat storage. We will assemble and direct a team of specialty design subcontractors to allow the client a single point of contact for marina project design. We provide complete permitting services with the LCRA including permit application development and coordination of public hearings. We can coordinate on-the-water dock anchoring design with major dock manufacturers. We provide design and site permitting for ancillary facilities including on-shore parking, ship’s stores, fueling facilities, wastewater pumping and storage, tram facilities for boats and people, and electrical connections to on-the-water slips and docks.
